Computer orchestra is an interactive installation composed of multiple computers. Close to the configuration of a classical orchestra, the installation offers a new approach to music by allowing the users to conduct their own orchestra. The movements of the user’s hands are accurately recognized thanks to a Kinect by a computer brain. It then transmits its instructions to a multitude of musical screens that give a sound as well as a visual feedback to the conductor.
