Beyond Matter / experimental animation

“Beyond Matter” questions technology and the quest to represent nature as realistically as possible. What are the limits of digitisation and how can it encourage a form of consumption of nature, a nature that we threaten without limit? The film is built around a dialogue between the body and the forest, the living and the digital. By giving a central place to the environment, the forest, often relegated to the status of a backdrop, becomes a fully-fledged subject.
