The raw beauty of the forest inspired me to develop a fragmented and singular aesthetic in an homage to nature that I want at the center of my art. Wearing a motion capture suit, the dancers are interacting with the forest, and their avatars are later integrated to the 3D laser scanned environment.
New technologies being at the center of my research, I’m subtly questioning its role in seeking for an immaculate and photorealistic representation of the world for our memorial and sensorial perception and how it may encourage a form of consumption and overconsumption of nature.
